Suburban Sugar Land Women (SSLW) is a volunteer, 501(c) 3, nonprofit, tax exempt, incorporated service organization based in Fort Bend County, Texas.

The organization was founded in 1989 by Mable and Mose Austin, Founder/CEO/President. It is the Austin’s' purpose, passion, and responsibility to help others become independent and self-sufficient. We have made a lifetime commitment to affect a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others-one person at a time. Those who joined the organization agree with these commitments.

Our vision is to encourage, educate, equip, engage, and empower.
Our purpose is to provide human and financial services and resources to infants thru seniors.
Our mission is to design, implement, maintain, and evaluate educational, civic, and cultural programs that build self-confidence and expand knowledge and skills to succeed in school and life.
