Suburban Sugar Land Women (SSLW) is a volunteer, 501(C) (3), non-profit, tax - exempt, incorporated, service organization based in Fort Bend County, Texas.

The organization was founded Mose and Mable Austin, Founder/CEO/President on June 19, 1989. “It is the Austins' purpose, promise, passion, and privilege  to help others  succeed in school and life. We have made a lifetime commitment to affect a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others - one person at a time.” Those who joined the organization agree with these commitments.

Our vision is to encourage, educate, equip, engage, and empower.
Our purpose is to provide human and financial services and resources to infancy thru adulthood.
Our mission is to design, implement, maintain, and evaluate educational, civic, and cultural programs that build self-confidence and expand knowledge and skills to succeed in school and life.
